The rooms themselves were okay, but the wedding noise made it impossible to rest. We’d booked two rooms for one night for my family and the kids, and reception did warn us there would be a wedding with some music audible. It was far more than a little: the music shook the room walls and went on well past midnight. If there’s a reception at the hotel and you want a good night’s sleep, don’t hesitate to cancel.

The garden is beautiful, elegant, and interesting, and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is reasonably priced with plenty of choices, especially the pancakes, which were my favorite. In the evening I had an exquisite sander filet with vegetables.

The staff were really helpful, and breakfast was delicious. It’s a nice, quiet location, and the place was clean enough, with warmth and hot water in the shower.

The people were nice and the service was very good. Rooms were large and clean, though we could hear noise from some kind of workshop. The shower was the one bad point, as you can see in the photos.

I stayed just one night and really enjoyed it. Great value for the money.
