Apartamenty Olimpijskie

The area is quiet and peaceful, near the SKM station and close to Sopot. But this isn’t really an apartment, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. My friend and I found brown and yellow stains all over the poorly cleaned toilet and were too embarrassed to use it. We had to ask staff to bring cleaning supplies so we could clean it ourselves. I don’t know what the cleaners do while they’re there, but cleaning doesn’t seem to be it. A space this small could easily have been properly cleaned by the 3 PM check-in. There’s nowhere to store luggage, only two coat hooks, no bathroom shelves for toiletries, and no towel rack. 😅

After a long journey, all you want is somewhere to rest, especially when it’s still before 11 p.m. Instead, our room was very dirty and smelled like a smoking room. Staff didn’t see a problem and made no effort to sort it out. We were left without a place to stay for two days. Avoid this place.

The location was the one good thing. The room itself was nice and practical, but dirty, as if it had only been given a quick surface clean. The bathroom was neglected and the dishes were dirty too. There was meant to be coffee for everyone to use, but there wasn’t any. We even found spiders in the room.

The location gets two points from me, and that’s it. My room was right on the main road, with a lot of traffic noise coming in, so it’s not somewhere I’d recommend for relaxing or concentrating on work. It was relatively clean, but smelled unpleasant when I first entered, as though someone had previously made it a smoking room. That’s unacceptable. To call it an apartment, it should meet the requirements; Apartment De Lux is really Economy Standard.
