The clean bed and linen were a plus, and the owner was a sweet, smiling man. Self check-in was convenient too. I came to see the city and only slept in the room, so its small size wasn't an issue for me. The hostel is in a quiet area, in a basement, about 20 minutes by tram from the Old Town. It has three rooms, a corridor-kitchen, and one shared bathroom. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell in the room, dirt in places, cobwebs, and unwashed windows. The shower stall was only about average for cleanliness. The photos on Booking don't match the actual place.
Check-in was easy, the beds were comfortable, and both the rooms and bathroom were pleasant and clean. Really great, I'd recommend it.
I haven't felt this comfortable in a hostel for a long time. The price was great, and the owner was very kind, professional, and flexible. I booked from my car while on the road, and it was no problem. I was just passing through and needed somewhere for a late arrival and early departure. The place was lovely and clean, the bunk-room mattresses were good, and the bathroom felt luxurious. There's a washing machine, and a proper warm ribbed radiator too, even at 11:30 PM. A really good stay, highly recommend.
There were no towels, and the bathroom was shared among three rooms. I saw cobwebs in the corners and wasn't sure about the bedding either. It was cold, though that's normal for a basement.
