Hotel Faros was a useful place to spend the night after our flight was cancelled and the airline booked us there. It's close to the airport, and the basement restaurant serves decent, simple food, which was enough after a long day of travel. The hotel itself is small and basic, fine for one night but not a place I'd choose for several days. Check-in was odd: there were three of us, and at first they said two would share a room while the third had a separate one. When we asked why we couldn't each have our own room, suddenly that wasn't an issue. It worked out, but the exchange was confusing. Practical for an overnight airport stop, nothing beyond that.

We were exhausted and frustrated after our flight was cancelled, but the staff at Hotel Faros were so kind and welcoming that they turned our mood around. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We also had dinner there and were pleasantly surprised by the tasty food and quick, attentive service. The only little annoyance was that the light on the AC unit couldn't be turned off at night. We still had a great stay and would recommend it.

I wasn't expecting to stay here after my flight was cancelled, but it turned out to be a lovely surprise. The transfer back to the airport went smoothly, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My room was cozy and well equipped, and breakfast was excellent. For an overnight stay near Gdansk Airport, I'd definitely recommend it. Between us, that was the best bed I've ever slept in while in Gdansk!

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the food was good. It's not the closest hotel to the airport, but a taxi has a fixed price of 25zl, or it's a 20-minute walk.
