Hotel Zatoka

Thin walls made the stay hard to recommend. We heard everything from the next room, even when they switched on the bathroom fan, and there was no switch to turn off our bathroom light. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated, but trains rattled by on the track beside it every half hour. The run-down surroundings felt uninviting, and breakfast was a letdown compared with the photos. I’d spend a few hundred kronor more for somewhere central and comfortable.

Breakfast was wonderful, but the hotel staff were unkind and unprofessional. The rooms were of decent quality, with a fine bed and air circulation.

The breakfast costs extra, but there are plenty of choices, from vegetarian food and meat to desserts and drinks, and it’s restaurant quality. The whole hotel was very clean, and the staff were kind and nice. My room had a working AC unit, a nice toilet, and a comfortable bed. One heads-up, the staff all seem to be women. I haven’t seen a man working there. If I come back to this city, this will be my go-to place.
