Kashubian Lodge & SPA

Such a peaceful place to stay. The spa and massages made the experience even better, and the staff were lovely and helpful, really making us feel at home. I'm already planning a return trip.

The place itself is great, and so is the staff, though it seems more suited to families than couples. The problem was the bill: my wife and I had to cut our stay short by one day, but I was charged for 10 nights even though I stayed one night less. The owner explained that I'd booked a few months earlier when the rates were lower. That doesn't feel very fair, does it?

The things we came for were all here: quiet, a homely family feel, comfortable beds, lovely rooms, and an owner who clearly cares about what they do. The pool and sauna overlooking the forest were wonderful too. Even the little details were taken care of, from L'Occitane shampoo and gel to high quality towels, bathrobes, and well-equipped rooms. We got the full peaceful break we were after, and we'll definitely be back. I was tempted not to review this place because I wanted to keep it to myself :) A few things I'd love to see next time: spa treatments, dinner menus available in advance, and maybe a hammam beside the sauna. Thanks so much!

Delicious breakfast and dinner, and a wonderful place with a really grateful kitchen crew! Thank you very much!
