Villa Osowianka

The owner was friendly and understanding, reception was always available, and check-in was quick. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, with free parking. The place is a bit out of the way, but there's a nearby bus stop. Close by you'll also find a Frog, a bakery, a cold cuts and kebab shop, and a Biedronka supermarket.

The building has clearly seen better days and needs a full renovation. The rooms are very low standard, with worn-out beds and no fridge or kettle in the room. You can find those in the hallway by the stairs instead. The plasterboard walls don't block sound, so you hear the next room and people walking along the hall.

The place was clean, which is a real plus, and the owner seems to keep it that way. Still, the building feels old from the moment you walk in, and there's a musty old smell. The walls are thin, so you hear what's happening nearby, and the beds creak badly whenever you move, as if plenty of people have slept in them. The rooms are okay for a night or two, but I wouldn't want a longer stay. The bathroom is showing its age and could use renovation. There's only one fridge in the hallway for the whole floor, and it was switched off, so you have to turn it on yourself. There's no bin in the room, just one in the bathroom. The place is tucked away, so you'll need to drive to see anything interesting. At least there's a Biedronka supermarket nearby, though it didn't look like it at first. Would I come back? I'm not sure. The old feel isn't for me, but it wasn't awful, and it was clean. I guess it depends what you like.

We had a good stay at Villa Osowianka for a week and would love to return. We arrived much earlier than planned, but everything was ready and we were warmly welcomed. The owner was incredibly kind and gave us helpful ideas for nearby things to see. The rooms were clean, and we have no complaints. There's a shared fridge and kettle in the hallway, but sharing them with other guests wasn't a problem. A great place for the price. Best wishes from Ennepetal 🙋🏻‍♀️
