Great!

The Villa gave us a lovely room with elegant furnishings and a modern bathroom, and it was clean and comfortable throughout. I picked it because it cost less than central Gdańsk while offering comfort and quality comparable to a 3-star hotel. There's a sauna and jacuzzi for guests, and the service was impeccable. We stayed on the ground floor and had no trouble with the internet; other guests mentioned the Wi-Fi was a little weaker upstairs. The Old Town is around 5 kilometers away, under half an hour by bus. A good choice if you want comfort and cleanliness without staying downtown.

The price doesn't match the conditions, and I wouldn't call this a hotel. There's no sidewalk leading to the property, the infrastructure is poor, and getting around without a car is a disaster. The walls are thin, so you hear everything. It was meant to be peaceful, but the nearby road has so many cars that quiet seems more like a dream. The lake is a huge mess full of algae. To reach any shop, you have to cross a busy road and walk through weeds to the lowest pedestrian crossing.

We paid 300 PLN in advance for a planned few-day stay, at the agreed rate of 150 PLN per night, but had to go home the next day. The owner refused to refund the unused night, and was arrogant, rude and greedy about it. We won't come back or recommend the place. The rooms don't look as nice as the photos, and the whole "villa" feels like an unfinished attempt at a modern renovation. The view is of a dirt road. Wi-Fi only works downstairs near reception, not in the rooms, and the area is awful. There's hardly ever anyone at reception. It's a typical little town with nothing to do, and getting there is a nightmare, with no proper road in some places. Give this place a wide berth.

The guesthouse is newly built, very well kept, and has nicely decorated, well-equipped rooms. Ours had a TV, refrigerator and hairdryer, and there is free secure parking at the villa. You can also use the jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast is delicious and home-cooked. It's a good base for going to Gdańsk or the beach, with easy bypass access to Sopot and Gdynia. We recommend it.
