Breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh omelettes the lovely ladies made each morning. The staff were super nice, and the rooms were pretty and clean. It's a really cute hotel in the centre of Gdynia, about a ten-minute walk from the train station.

The hotel is right in the centre, with the beach, shopping malls, and train station all a short walk away. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the receptionists were all smiles and very helpful. I stayed for a week; my room had good-quality linen, complimentary snacks and drinks, and was cleaned every day. Breakfast at the restaurant had a lovely range of local and international dishes made with fresh ingredients. It worked well for both relaxing and exploring.

Breakfast was the best part. The room was fine for an overnight stay, though not very comfortable. It was noisy, with children running around until eleven. I was also disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned after the first night, so the water wasn't replenished. One of the bathroom towels was already dirty when I arrived.

The room was on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and there was a bottle opener and hair dryer. We could leave our luggage there after checking out while we explored the city. The train station and beach were both a short walk away.

The hotel has clearly had a lot of thought put into its design, colours, and branding, and it gets nearly everything right. It's just around the corner from Świętojańska, Gdynia's ‘Champs Elysees’. The lighting is a real shame, though: most bulbs are the cheapest, stark white kind, around 5000K, which wipes out the welcoming feel the rest of the design tries to create. I can't understand why anyone in hospitality would choose those lights. Swap them for 2700K bulbs and this place would be perfect.
