The place feels like it’s still got a bit of the communist era about it, and whatever charm it once had seems to have faded. Still, it was spotless, well located, and breakfast was pretty good. The room stayed terribly cold even with the radiators on, so the price feels way too high for what you get.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, easily five stars. But the rooms date back to the early 1970s, and the price for a night doesn’t match the standard.

The location was a real plus, with the station just five minutes away and the beach about ten minutes on foot. There’s also a garden in summer and parking. The hotel has a restaurant, and breakfast was tasty. Furnishings in the room are older but still nice.

There were thoughtful little things in the room, like water, shampoo, soap and towels. It was spacious and well equipped too. A very nice hotel.
