I had a complimentary gym session with Jack, the Judo World Champion, and I'd go back to Poland just to train with him again. The staff were welcoming and made sure I had what I needed. My room was beautiful, quiet, clean, and luxurious, and the hotel was perfect for my business trip. I'm delighted with the Royal hotel and will definitely be back soon for a holiday in Poland.

The room was nice, with a huge bathtub, but you could use it only if you didn't want hot water. I chose the place hoping to have dinner at the restaurant when I arrived in the evening, but it was closed. The staff didn't seem happy to welcome customers, and breakfast was just okay in an unfriendly atmosphere. There are better places in the area. Too bad.

The only real plus for me was the central location. The room had stuffy, stale air, and although there was an AC unit on the ceiling, there was no remote. Reception said the room only gets a remote in summer, which seemed ridiculous, so I had to open the window at night for fresh air. I was there in winter. There were also long hairs lying around, just one small bin in the bathroom, and the Wi-Fi sometimes dropped out. There was no shower cubicle either, so half the bathroom got wet after a shower. I wasn't satisfied with this stay. There are better hotels in Gliwice.
