Wygodne Pokoje H114

The owners were friendly and the service was good. The rooms are clean and fine for a night or two, though I would've liked a bottle of water in mine. There's a kitchen available, with glasses and other things. The city center is close by Bolt or Uber, with Uber costing 20 PLN.

The thin walls were the worst part. We could hear literally everything from the neighboring room, and unfortunately the men next door were drunk and kept us awake for half the night. Someone should keep an eye on the place, especially with the sign saying alcohol isn't allowed and carries a 500 PLN fine. There were some good things: the mattresses were comfortable and firm, parking was ample, and the rooms were nice. Still, a strange smell hit us when we walked into the room, and the shower pressure and temperature were disappointing. Those positives weren't enough to make the stay enjoyable.

I booked a year ahead and got confirmation, then two months before the date I was told the rooms I'd reserved essentially didn't exist and had been removed from my booking. The owner blamed Booking.com, which may be true, but it surprised me that nobody noticed the problem during that whole year. This wasn't the first time the owner came across as unserious either. I called because the situation was ridiculous, and was told they didn't want guests like me at the hotel. The owner even shouted at me over the phone because I was unhappy about the cancellation coming so close to the date. With that attitude, I'm surprised the hotel has guests at all. They offered rooms that weren't there, then complained when I objected to being told at the last minute. Ridiculous.

The location worked perfectly for me, though it's not especially close to the city center. The room was fine for a short visit. A hairdryer and washing board are shared in the hallway.
