Motel pod Lipą

I stayed in room no. 7 on October 1-2, 2018, and the photos I took that day show how bad the bathroom was. It was dirty and terrible, with electrical cables hanging out, and the toilet was dirty too. I felt like I needed flip-flops just to shower. The water was cold, though it was warm the next day after staff intervened. It’s the 21st century, but this place still feels like the 19th. I definitely don’t recommend it.

The bed was comfortable and things were fairly clean. It’s close to the city center and easy to get to, and relatively cheap, with the downsides that come with that. It was noisy and cold. The equipment was faulty, including a fan in the unheated bathroom that switched on randomly all night, and there were no curtains to block the streetlights.

The owner makes sure everything is as it should be, but I’ve never seen anything this terrible. The whole place was run-down, damp, filthy, and stank. The floor was sticky, and I was afraid to touch anything. Disgusting, in one word. On a scale of 1 to 5, I’d give it -10.

The bed was comfortable and the room fairly clean, but it was cold in October, with drafts coming through the leaky door and windows. The room entrance is right off the street, like going into a shop.
