Nightmare. We arrived on the afternoon of 23.12 and found the hotel closed, with instructions to collect our keys from a nearby petrol station. It took half an hour of helping the staff get the paper into the PDQ before they finally handed them over. When we opened the room, the alarm went off, and the broken handle and lock meant we couldn't secure the door. I went back to the Petrol station, where they said they'd contact the hotel manager. About 20 minutes later, a man walked into our room without knocking or saying hello, looked at me and my family, then left. I was later told by an extremely rude manager on the phone that he was a security guy from the petrol station. The manager didn't understand why I was so worried about a door that wouldn't lock. We had to find somewhere else to stay in a hurry. I couldn't have my 8 year daughter in that s***hole.

The gardens were lovely, and the apartment itself was very clean. There are several great shops nearby, less than a 10-minute walk away.

Pretty cool. I haven't been there, but some spam call made me look it up, and it looks nice. Five-star class.
