Dom Gościnny Sosenka

We had a comfortable stay at SOSENKA HOLIDAY HOME, with a really nice owner and clean, compact rooms. The beds were comfortable, and each room had a shower bathroom, a small fridge, and a coffee kettle. The shared kitchen was convenient too. It's quiet and shady in the garden, which was welcome in the heat, though I think it could use a bit of a refresh. There’s plenty of parking, plus a safe place for regular and electric bikes. I think bikes may be available to rent from the owners, but ask them first, as we brought our own. The property is on the edge of Grzybowo, with Dino, Żabka, and Apteka nearby. We found it affordable and enjoyable, and would gladly recommend it.

This is only about the chalet at the back of the garden. The stay was very disappointing. Some important things listed in the description weren't there, and the landlord said they were in the main building about 15 meters away. I couldn't tell whether that was an excuse or deliberate deception. When I raised the mismatch, the blame was put on the booking platform. The chalet felt nowhere near big enough for four people, and the landlord said bookings had to be for at least seven days. We were left feeling we'd have to keep our suitcases in the car. Much of the equipment was broken, badly worn, near the end of its life, or patched together. The garden play equipment was worn out and unsafe, and the grill and other gear hadn't been cleaned. We were given just one set of towels for 10 days, as a courtesy, apparently. The landlords were willing to fix a few things as a courtesy, but our attempts to explain the problems mostly got excuses. This place might work for the occasional night if you have low expectations and plenty of patience.

The owner was attentive and very pleasant, though the sea was a bit of a walk away. We stayed in the so-called "Scandinavian cottage," which felt more like a camping trailer, and the conditions were pretty basic.

Brr, what an unpleasant place. It smelled damp, was dirty everywhere, and the lighting was poor. You can't use the kitchen, just cards and prohibitions.
