The room was spacious, comfortable, and very nice, and the location made it easy to walk to the train station, beach, and fokarium. The staff, though, seemed really unwilling to help. The woman who checked us in acted like she hated her job. She barely said hello, if we even heard it, and seemed to think giving us directions to our room was a big problem. We're not demanding guests, so her unfriendly manner and lack of interest surprised us. All we heard was, “Here is the form, fill it,” and “Here are the keys.”

I stayed at this hotel a few times in the summer, starting in 2017, but this time the bathrooms weren't clean. Our room was near the toilet, and an awful smell kept coming into it. The price is okay for the location, but the service needs improvement. Noise from the next room also kept us from sleeping well. I wouldn't recommend it.

The building has been nicely renovated and the standard is good, with a kitchen on each floor. The train station right next to the hotel is noisy, though, so it's better to ask for a room on the other side of the building.

The reception staff were friendly and showed us around the area with a map. Our room was very clean, and the location is handy: a five-minute walk to the train station, five minutes to the beach, and about ten minutes to restaurants serving really tasty seafood. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Beach lovers will enjoy Hel.

It's a very nice place, close to the train station and within easy reach of the center, shops, and sea. It's not right in the center. Train noise at night doesn't bother me, but it might bother someone else.
