Hotel Jarosław

The location worked well for our trip to or from UA, about 20 minutes from the border and a 5-minute drive from A4. It was quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was great, and they can start serving earlier if you need. Dinner was tasty too, with an interesting menu and plenty of variety.

This is my second stay here. The rooms are decent, clean, and in order, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Everyone at reception speaks English. Check-in is possible at any time of day, which is really handy on a long trip. A fresh, tasty breakfast is included in the room price.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the service was very friendly. I was glad they had gluten-free bread at breakfast. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the taxi they arranged for the next day. The older driver quoted a price to the receptionist over the phone, and she passed it on to me. But when we got to my destination, he wanted almost twice as much. He didn’t speak English and I don’t speak Polish, so it turned into a very uncomfortable argument 😳

The hotel is clean, the staff are really nice, and breakfast is good. But the walls and doors are so thin that the people next door sound like they’re in my room. Two nights ago I had to ask a neighbor to turn down the TV at 00:30 because I could hear everything. Now I can hear a normal phone conversation, and someone whistling. I don’t understand why a hotel would be built with walls this thin. The bed is small and feels like it has a plastic sheet under it, so I’m using the duvet from the other bed as a bedsheet. The restaurant food is good, but the service is unpredictable. The first night was great. On the second, the waitress disappeared and went home without saying anything. On the third, I waited 20 minutes for the check after asking for it. The same happened tonight, and they also added soup to my bill for no reason. I usually tip 20%, but I’ve left nothing twice because of the service. They seem nice, just not very good at the job. I used to be a waiter, so I know what good service looks like. I’m here for two more nights, but I’ll find somewhere else to eat even though this restaurant is convenient.
