The location was great, but our room was incredibly dirty when we stayed around Easter last year. There was dust and grime on the floors, with huge dust balls under the beds. No towels were provided for the shower, and, especially strange after the pandemic, there wasn’t even hand soap in the bathroom. My partner wrote a review about it, then the owner called her and aggressively demanded that she remove it. She said it was unreasonable to expect towels and soap in a guesthouse, claimed the room was perfectly clean, and ignored the photos of the piles of dirt in the bedroom. She also insulted my partner publicly in response to the review. The town is beautiful and has a lot to offer, but after what happened, I’ll definitely stay somewhere else.

We had no problems during our stay at Mewa guesthouse from August 17th to 26th. It’s a pleasant, peaceful property with ample parking and a friendly owner. The location is excellent, close to everything, and the food at the on-site restaurant, U braci, is delicious. The rooms are adequate, though it’s clearly not a 5-star hotel. Guests can use the Wi-Fi and shared kitchen. A special thank you to Agnieszka, who keeps the rooms clean and is such a warm, kind and extremely helpful person. This is definitely somewhere I’d return to. Thanks for the warm welcome, and best wishes from Łódź.

The owner was very kind and let us leave the car in the parking lot a few hours before check-in and after check-out, which made everything much easier. The lot is watched over by two friendly dogs. 😁 The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a TV, fridge and kettle. It’s centrally located, with a restaurant next door and attractions nearby. The prices are much better than at other apartments. I highly recommend it!

The drilling went on all day, and the sheets, floor, and plates were dirty. We came to relax, but after one night we gave up. The photos and prices on the website also didn't match what we actually paid. This was our first experience this bad. It felt like a scam, so I can't recommend it and would warn others away.

Restaurants are right nearby, and everything else is close too. The rooms were clean, and the location was great. There’s a TV and internet, though I don’t need either. My wife and I recommend it.
