Pensjonat Marmas

We stayed three nights. Breakfast was amazing, with a different selection each day and really good quality food. The spa was a real plus, with two saunas and a jacuzzi. The person answering the phone was friendly and supportive, the Wi-Fi worked very well, and the hotel provides a windbreak fence for the beach. The hotel is right in the center and very close to the beach, but the area is noisy and overcrowded, so it suits you if you want nightlife or to be central. A few things lowered my rating. The room looked much better in the photos, and there was no insect protection on the windows, so we found quite a few bugs inside. There was a noisy fridge beside the bed, and we had to turn it off. Nobody asked about changing towels or cleaning the room, and there didn’t seem to be a way to request it. Ventilation in the room and bathroom wasn’t great, and there was no bathroom heating. The air stayed damp, so our swimsuits and towels didn’t dry at all during the two days. There was only hand soap by the sink, with nothing in the shower. That isn’t essential, but for the price we paid, it would have been good to have.
