What a nightmare. We’ve just got back from a week there with our one-year-old. Through Booking, we’d paid for an apartment with a bedroom and kitchenette, two rooms plus a bathroom and hallway. We were put in room number 6, and it was freezing. The fan heater left by the door didn’t help at all. It felt colder than the corridor, as if there was something wrong with the outside wall. Our friends had room number 8 and were fine. The next morning, the owner offered us a different room on the warmer, sealed side of the building. She didn’t have another large one, so this was much smaller, just a room and bathroom. There wasn’t another option, so we accepted. I waited the whole week to see if she’d get in touch about some compensation for paying for a two-room apartment with a kitchen but ending up in a cheaper, tiny room, while she could rent the apartment to someone else. Nothing was offered or even brought up. When I asked at checkout, she said it was the cold side with no sun, that hospitals are cold too and don’t heat properly, and that if I wanted warmth I could have gone to the Maldives. That’s how it went. I can’t recommend this place. Our son slept in that cold room from Saturday into Sunday, and by Wednesday he’d developed bronchitis.

Justyna is such a warm, smiling person. We haven’t had an owner this kind at the Polish seaside before, and we’ll definitely return to Villa Onyks. Our room was quiet and cozy even though the hotel is right in the center of Jastrzębia Góra. It was clean and tidy, and the fresh towels and linens were lovely. Wi-Fi and a smart TV were handy, and we could rent beach screens too. A really nice place to unwind.

The owner was incredibly nice, and the apartment was spacious, clean, and smelled lovely :) It’s right in the center, with a supermarket across the street and the sea close by. We recommend it ♥️

The one thing we didn’t get along with was the mattress. It was too soft and uncomfortable for us. Otherwise, this is a place I’d happily recommend. The interiors and rooms are beautifully and consistently decorated, with a choice of room sizes and suites. The location is excellent, practically on the beach and promenade. We’d love to come back for another relaxing break.

Even with the promenade and main street close by, our northeast-facing balcony room was wonderfully quiet. It was large, lovely, and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bathroom with a big shower. The enclosed balcony gave us privacy and was perfect for a romantic dinner. Villa Onyks sits right in the center of Jastrzębia Góra, near the popular viewpoints and beach, between exits 23 and 24. There are lots of attractions and restaurants nearby, plus a great cafe downstairs for pastries and breakfast. People in Jastrzębia Góra are exceptionally friendly. We highly recommend staying here.
