The kitchen setup was a problem: the induction hob wouldn’t work with any of the frying pans or pots, which weren’t made for electric cooking. The cutlery couldn’t even slice a tomato, and the fridge froze things instead of just keeping them cool. We also found a dirty pillow in the living room and dirty sheets. Basic things like salt and pepper were missing. The bathroom was meant to have toiletries, but there was no soap. We’d said there would be three of us, yet there was only one small hand towel and two large bath towels. Once we got the keys to the “apartment,” the landlady stopped answering her phone, and we couldn’t reach her at all. Calling it an apartment doesn’t really fit the condition. For this price, the owners should put in a lot more effort and treat guests better. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

There’s a nice place to eat out in the evening, and parking in the courtyard is fine. You can pick up a few things about 300 meters away, though the town center is a longer walk, around 25 minutes. The accommodation was very clean and okay overall, with a few small issues: no sink plug, the coffee machine and dishwasher are in the shared kitchen, and the TV receiver wasn’t connected. I only saw the landlady when we arrived. Unfortunately, she speaks neither English nor German.

There’s no balcony, and what they call a balcony is a joke. The rooms get unbearably hot in summer, with the wood paneling adding to it. It’s a long way from the city center, with no shops or restaurants nearby. Calling these rooms apartments is a huge exaggeration, maybe that was true in the 1990s. The price doesn’t match the standard. I don’t recommend it!

The owner was incredibly kind, and both the rooms and kitchen were great: the rooms were clean and nice, and the kitchen had loads of equipment. You can hear what’s going on in other rooms, though that may just be down to the building.
