The rooms were fine, though the whole place could use some renovation. It works for a night. The location is the main plus: the trails are nearby, so there’s no need to drive and pay for parking. The setup is odd, though, with one reception desk in the neighboring establishment serving two places, so you have to run between them. At 7 PM the locker for the room key was open but empty. The excuse was that it involved a lot of work.

For hikers, the location is spot on, and the rooms are okay for what they cost. But the hot water was a real problem. After a day on the trail or travelling, you may or may not get a chance to wash. I waited from 9 to 11 p.m. today and still had no luck. Maybe in the morning? No comment...

The owner was easy to get hold of, and the place is quiet and near the mountains. A really nice stay, I recommend it.
