The homes look new and nice, the location is good, and parking is available. But service was odd. Reception is only open until 5, and although the listing mentioned a washing machine, there wasn’t one. We couldn’t get the water heating to work. We found a bathroom switch, but it did nothing; only after changing the power socket could we get some water, and the pressure was low. There were no instructions on using the boiler or bags for the coffee machine. For four people staying four days, they left just two toilet rolls. It really hurt the impression. At this price, I expected more attention to guests. The little details matter.

Sarnia 7/25 is well placed, and the room was clean, but a lot of things need fixing. The bathroom tap shuts itself off, the soft-close toilet seat no longer works, and the light above the bed flickers. The armchairs are hard and uncomfortable, maybe they were fine six years ago. Kitchen equipment is very limited, with only four teaspoons and so on. For five days, there were just two dishwasher tablets and two toilet rolls. A disaster. I can’t recommend it.

Even with a reserved parking spot, finding a place to park was a struggle because the space is so small. The road up to the cottage is steep, slippery, and not gritted. The fireplace is useless, and smoke comes back from the upstairs neighbor. I don’t recommend it.

The rooms were very warm, the internet worked well, and the hotel is in a great location. Still, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There were silverfish in the kitchen and bathroom, and both the curtains and dishes in the cupboards were dirty. The bedding had a strange smell. Shower pressure was so terrible that washing was a chore, and washing my hair was almost impossible. There’s no reception or security, so it felt like nobody was keeping an eye on the property. I didn’t feel safe, especially after a fight with the neighbors broke out at night and kept me awake for three hours.
