Great.

I've never stayed in a worse hotel. It felt like communist Poland, and the whole stay was a disaster. The conditions were shockingly neglected. My room was cold, had no water or glasses, and the door wouldn't shut properly, leaving a visible gap. There was dirt and mold, the ceiling was coming down, and power cables on the floor looked dangerous. The window faced another building's wall, so there was no privacy or light. Parking was ridiculous, around six spaces for the entire hotel. Staff kept rattling the doorknob from 8:00 a.m. to check if we'd left, then did it again at 10:00 a.m. They stopped only after I warned them. Breakfast was awful too: sour bread and dry, lumpy scrambled eggs that seemed to have sat out for hours. Tasteless and a tragedy. Avoid this hotel.

The location is handy, very close to the trails, and the woman at reception was lovely, kind, and genuinely helpful. Lidia tried hard to make things right, but the rest of our stay left a lot to be desired. Our room was in poor shape, with furniture falling apart, and the shower barely ran, so washing our hair was a struggle. We were in a triple room but had only two glasses. We had first booked for two people, two nights for 350 PLN, then called about changing to three; the extra charge was 250 PLN, which felt high next to the original price. There was also a dog fee and a parking charge, which was the last straw. Parking was extremely tight: a large car couldn't fit if other guests were there, and even a small one could get stuck. Our SUV got stuck and was scraped. The owners should give the receptionist a good raise, she's saving the place. I hate leaving a bad review, but future guests should know what the conditions are like.
