Osada Biały Jar

The place was cold for my elderly parents, and my child came back from a trip sick. There was no hot water or heating, the ceiling leaked, and the toilet wouldn’t close. Neighbors arrived at 2 a.m. and made noise unpacking all night, and the same thing happened the next night. It later turned out those “neighbors” were the owners, who pretended to be guests and didn’t introduce themselves until the last minute. When we tried to get the water problem fixed, contact with the owner was very limited. He didn’t reply to calls or texts. His reasoning was that because we hadn’t left early, we must have liked it, and since we hadn’t come downstairs at 2 a.m. to complain, the noise supposedly hadn’t bothered us. I had vacation plans that the owners ruined by making noise all night. In my opinion, they showed complete disrespect for guests. I don’t recommend staying here. They pretended to be guests instead of coming to sort out the problems.

The apartment has an old-fashioned feel and a character we loved, so our impression was very good and we’d come back. It’s spacious, with large rooms, bathroom, and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, although it could use a few more forks. Parking is on site. It’s close to Winterfield, hiking trails, the ice rink, and the ski jump. There are a few things that could be improved, but I’d still recommend it.

The location is fantastic, and the apartments are lovely, clean, and full of atmosphere. The owners were friendly and professional, with a warm way of treating guests. Such a great place 😊 I highly recommend it.

We only stayed a short time, which was a shame. The caretakers were so friendly, helpful, and understanding, they even stopped the rain and brought out a rainbow for us 🙂 The cottage was warm, clean, and nicely put together, with nature-inspired decor and interesting interiors. It had everything we needed, including a spacious kitchen where we could cook after long hikes, especially useful since restaurants nearby are limited for obvious reasons. This is a lovely choice if you want peace, nature, and the Karkonosze Mountains. Trails and a walk by the charming Łomnica stream are close, and the cottage is practically in the forest, with deer peeking through the windows. It’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back to this charming spot soon.
