The forest views are beautiful and the place looks idyllic at first, but our stay never got that far. My wife and I travel a lot, and I’ve never had an experience like this. We chose the property on booking.com, paid a 50% deposit by instant BLIK transfer, and got booking.com’s confirmation that the booking was confirmed. To make sure, I also sent the owner a bank transfer confirmation by phone. She thanked me and confirmed the reservation too. Then, half an hour before we were due to arrive on the booked day, the owner called to say there’d been a mistake and our reservation wasn’t valid. She said this sort of thing wasn’t done and that we were 20 km from Karpacz, but that didn’t help. When we got there, it turned out other people had rented our apartment for several days longer than we had. The owner returned our deposit, apparently just to get rid of us quickly. While we were trying to find somewhere in Karpacz and then Szklarska Poręba, she reported to booking.com that we had canceled and never arrived, which is untrue. I think she did it to avoid a review on the platform because of her greed. I’ve filed a complaint with booking.com. If you care about peace, decent service, and politeness, I’d stay away from this place and its owner. She’s fickle, and I don’t recommend either of them. Best regards.

The room was well cared for, and the views were lovely. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, plus a barbecue and a sitting area looking out toward the forest. It’s also very close to the trails. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful whenever we had questions. I highly recommend staying here.

A clean, spotless apartment and a peaceful atmosphere, with hiking trails very close by. It’s a lovely spot if you want some quiet. I recommend it.
