Willa Rosa

The owners make you feel like family from the first day, always smiling, welcoming, and ready to help. That’s a big part of why I’ve spent 25 years vacationing at Willa Rosa. The garden is huge and lovely, with places to lounge and barbecue, and there’s plenty of free parking. Inside, the grand interiors feel like stepping back in time. The views from the windows are fabulous. You’re only a five-minute walk from the promenade, so it’s practically in central Karpacz, but the villa sits in a quiet spot away from the busy streets. Mornings come with birdsong, and on walks nearby you might see deer. It’s also easy to reach the main trails to Śnieżka Mountain and other mountain attractions. Every year more modern apartments appear, but none have the unique character of this beautiful building. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. It’s a peaceful, relaxing place that makes you feel like you’re really on vacation. ❤️

I’m already looking forward to a winter trip to Karpacz. I spent a few days at Willa Rosa last week and came away enchanted. The large garden has a barbecue area, and there’s lots of parking. The owners are lovely and always willing to help, with useful suggestions for trails and routes. To me, the historic cottage looks like a palace, and it felt like traveling back in time. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I fell in love with the place. If you like places with atmosphere and soul, I recommend it. Thanks for the hospitality, and I hope we’ll see you again.

In October 2023, the property was unheated, and it was about 14 degrees Celsius inside, as cold as outside. We’d planned to stay for the weekend but left after the first night because we were so cold. The listing said the room had a TV, but there wasn’t one. At least it was clean, and there was a refrigerator in the hallway.

The hosts were very helpful, and the area was quiet and peaceful. It’s also a handy location, near the center, with easy access to trails and the bus stop for the trail. My room was spacious and had a veranda, balcony, and private bathroom, plus a small fridge and kettle. The place isn’t the newest, but that gives it some charm. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the sheets were cotton with white towels. Wi-Fi was available, though I could barely get a connection in room no. 5. It didn’t bother me 😊.
