Hotel Senator

There’s free parking in front and beside the building, and the hotel sits on the main tram line, just three stops from the centre. Our room was fairly spacious, and breakfast in the basement was very nice, though there’s no elevator down there. We would have liked a room safe. We also noticed disabled parking, but no way to get in except by stairs.

We paid a reasonable price for what we got, and the staff were kind and helped us even though we didn't speak Polish. Our room had three beds, plus a shower and a balcony at no extra cost. We had a few wifi problems, but that was our own doing. A really good stay for the price.

The people working here were polite and kind, the food was tasty, and the nightly price was reasonable. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were okay, but there was quite a lot of dust in the vents and some on the bathroom radiator. If you have allergies, keep that in mind. It isn't pristine, though it isn't bad either.

The bed was super comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean. I was given a room with two beds instead of one, so there was loads of space for my things, plus chairs, a desk, a table and a TV. Towels, a hair dryer and basic wash gel were provided. There’s a tiny balcony that works for smoking, but there’s not even room for a chair to sit and read. The hotel is near the centre, and the area is fairly quiet acoustically, though it can still get loud at night if you leave the windows open. The staff were friendly and fixed the missing remote batteries and broken door card straight away. I did pay less than I expected because apparently the prices on the website were wrong. Breakfast and the dishes were okay, but the cocktail bar barely exists and only sells beer. The big downside for me was that there was no kettle, tea or coffee, and only a small amount of mineral water.
