The rooms were clean, but the place felt very basic, and the food seemed questionable. There weren't other places to eat nearby. The bar serving shots at 9.30 felt ridiculously early, even to me, and I’m not a big drinker. It has more of a backpacker sort of feel. I wouldn't stay again.

The road nearby can get busy, and the traffic noise was an issue at times. Apart from that, I had a clean, comfortable room and a very good choice of quality food. Staff in reception and the dining area were polite and helpful.

We hadn't realized the pool cost extra. Still, the service, rooms, and location worked well for us, especially since we had a car.

We got there at 11, tired, and had to wait while the guy at the desk figured out what to click to check us in. The room I received was dirty, with partly damaged furniture, even though I had booked a higher class. It smelled like sewage, and the shower water wouldn't drain. Just a really negative experience.

Breakfast was the best part of my stay. The quality for the price was so good that it's the main reason I'd consider coming back. The twin room was decent and the bed was comfortable, though the pillow wasn't. Hand towels and disposable slippers would have been useful. The hotel is a little way from the city centre, but there's a bus stop about a 10 minute walk away.
