Room 3 was clean, with an easy check-in, a working kitchen if you need it, a comfortable bed on the soft side, and a TV with Netflix ready. The area is great, right in the center. That's about where the good points end for me. I wouldn't stay here again even at half price. This was the worst "hotel" I've used in seven years on this app, mostly staying in budget to midrange places. I've only seen Room 3, but I doubt the others are in better shape. The noise all night was unbearable. Trams were audible, as someone else noted, but I could also hear everyone and everything below, above, and in the hallway, yelling, moaning, and talking. It wasn't ordinary noise from a busy building, it was stupidly loud. The apartment was around 17°C with no heating, and the duvet wasn't wide or long enough for two people, especially with me being quite tall. Together, that was torture. There are also basic maintenance problems. The shower head starts dripping about 15 minutes after a shower, something another reviewer mentioned eight months ago, and it still hasn't been fixed. There's no shower curtain, so water goes everywhere, and no working ventilation, turning the bathroom into a free steam room. It gives the impression the owner doesn't care about fixing things. A couple of euros for an O-ring and 75€ for curtains would help, maybe paid for with the money I wasted here. Opening the window means getting smelly air from the AC system outside, so it doesn't help. The air barely moves in the room, and I'd avoid it in summer because it will get very hot. In winter, it was already very cold.

There's no elevator, so large bags could be a problem, especially for older guests. We also looked out the window and saw a disgusting sight early in the morning: feces leaking from a pipe in the room opposite us. The heater in our room made noises that disturbed our sleep, so we spent the cold winter night without using it.

The owner wouldn't do anything to sort things out, and guests are treated like animals. The cutlery was in terrible shape, with frying pans full of holes and pots that seemed carcinogenic. Every few minutes, nearly around the clock, the tram noise was awful. The apartment shook like a mine, and even earplugs couldn't make it possible to sleep. A terrible place.

The location is brilliant and the place has everything you could want. The bathroom is new and modern. I found the bed a little too soft, though it might suit someone else perfectly. I only wish the duvet were bigger.
