The guesthouse was quiet and peaceful, and my ground-floor room was spotless with very comfortable beds. There was no trouble parking. The large courtyard had a well-kept lawn, with plenty of tables and chairs both in front and behind the house. The shared kitchen is well equipped, and the outdoor kitchen has everything needed for anyone who likes cooking. Owners were very friendly. The beach is about 1 km through the forest, a pleasant walk. The bay, port, restaurants, and shops are all close by. I recommend checking it out if you want some peace and quiet.

The location was okay, but the bathrooms needed inspection by the sanitary inspectorate, the Booking.com photos were significantly outdated, and the outside of the building was unfinished. We came 400 km for three days and found mold in the bathroom grout, ceiling, and drain, along with a suffocating smell. The owner reeked of alcohol and sneered at my complaint, asking, "A few dots bothering you?" When I said it was mold and we were breathing it in, he denied it and walked away. He came back a moment later to say that if we weren't happy, we could leave in the morning. I tried to talk politely the next day, but he verbally attacked me and said, "I've given you the solution, end of story." There was no cooperation, only aggression. We reported it to Booking, but instead of getting real help, we were told to wait at the property until the issue was resolved. Booking ultimately gave us only 15% compensation, while the owner put forward a false story that we'd supposedly refused to cancel. A strange man then appeared asking whether anything needed cleaning. It looked like an attempt to "swap" the place, so the owner could later say help had been offered and refused. His manner was sly, aggressive, and mentally exhausting. We lost our health, nerves, and money, and came away stressed and feeling unfairly treated instead of rested. At the end, the owner said, "It'll be cleaned in 15 minutes," but by then we didn't want to stay any longer. I highly recommend this place.

The grounds were spacious, with a big garden, plenty of seats, tables, benches, a swing, and ample parking. Getting in was awkward, though: until the automatic gate opened, we had to stand on the sidewalk by a busy street. Breakfast could be eaten outdoors or inside. There were two seating areas in the lobby with a TV, plus another dining area upstairs. The large kitchen by reception had a fridge, microwave, stove, and all the utensils. But the fridge smelled so bad it made me sick, and some guests didn't wash up properly. For example, someone heated dog food in the microwave without a cover, and it got all over the inside. Bring your own food for yourself or your child. A warning to other guests: microwaves are for people, and heating pet food in them is inappropriate. Rooms are small, but the beds and mattresses are very comfortable. They have a TV, fridge, and electric kettle. Ask reception for towels. The mosquitoes were awful, but I still enjoyed the stay. It's a quiet place, good for relaxing.
