Hotel Azyl

The garden and scenery are really lovely, along with everything outside the hotel and restaurant. The stay itself was a letdown: the rooms felt cramped even for a three-star hotel, and breakfast was very poor by that standard too. Some food arrived cold and was badly prepared, though it was edible. I wouldn't recommend it. Service was awful as well. I asked for water three times and still didn't get any.

A handy place to stop off the highway for lunch or dinner. We had fresh, tasty local Polish classics, including a nice choice of duck dishes. The portions of seating are bright and spacious, and the food came out quickly. The hotel was clean and well appointed, and the staff were wonderful.

The food was great value, especially with the 50% discount I got on the main course because the chicken itself wasn't very large. We stopped for lunch after coming down from the highway in heavy rain. The place was easy to find, tucked among greenery, and would probably be lovely in the sun. Inside, the restaurant has a very simple design, the menu isn't huge, and prices are a little above mid-range. There's also a huge play corner for kids.

The gardens are lush, and the spotless rooms are very well equipped. The food is delicious too. It's a lovely place to spend the night after a long bike ride through nature. Hotel Azyl hosted us and our wedding guests, and helped make it the most beautiful experience we could imagine. At least half the staff speak great English, and the others were still so helpful and accommodating.
