The staff were very unfriendly, and I regretted booking here. At check-in, the woman at reception, which is also a café, seemed surprised that we needed two rooms. We had requested one room with two single beds and another with a double, but got two rooms with single beds pushed together. When I asked about separating one bed, she said we could do it ourselves. She also asked if we had brought towels or needed some. This is a guesthouse, not Airbnb, so we hadn’t brought towels. They weren’t dry yet, and we had to wait, even though we arrived around 7pm and I expected the rooms to be ready. The rooms looked nice in the photos and in person, but weren’t fully clean. There were crumbs on the sofa or armchair, rumpled sheets and bedding that made me wonder if they’d been used by the previous guests, hair on the bathroom floor, and dirty dishes. The rooms also have very thin walls, so you hear everything next door, including doors opening and closing. A bedside lamp wasn’t plugged in, and we had to move the beds to find the socket. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or stay elsewhere.
