The spa was already fully booked when we asked about it, which was a letdown for a hotel that presents itself partly as a spa hotel. The receptionist who checked us in didn’t speak English, so getting information was difficult, though check-in and checkout themselves went smoothly. We had dinner at the restaurant next door. The chicken soup starter was delicious, and the duck breast that followed was very good, though a little too sweet for my taste. Dessert was my least favorite, as it didn’t have much flavor. The meal was tasty overall, with a few things that could be better. My girlfriend and I stayed for one night in April 2025 and had a good time. The hotel sits in a quiet, scenic spot by a forest on the hill, just outside the charming village of Kazimierz Dolny. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center. There’s plenty of parking, but the approach road is very narrow and has quite a few potholes just before and after the hotel. Our room was a decent size, if not especially large, and having a balcony was a nice touch.

The hotel and its garden are lovely, and the place was clean and peaceful. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the center. The service, though, wasn’t great. I tried to go for a walk early one morning and found we were locked in, with no way out. Nobody answered at reception until 7:30. On Monday morning there was no coffee at breakfast, and no one was around in the dining room to ask about it.

It’s an easy, pleasant 10-15 minute walk into town. The grounds are gorgeous, and both the staff and the spa facilities were good. The women working in the spa were especially lovely. One thing to watch for: I was given room 24 on the first floor, right next to where the cleaning staff are based. They came in around 6am, and their chatting was loud enough to wake me every day.

A good-value stay with friendly staff and a great spot in Kazimierz Dolny. The attractions are all close by, which makes it one of the best places in town.

The spa was nice, the food was good, and the coffee was surprisingly good too. It’s a clean, comfortable place. Prices are on the high side, though you can negotiate.
