The owners were unkind and seemed very cheap, which is unacceptable at this price. The food was disgusting, the worst kind. The rooms are so cramped you can't get from one side of the bed to the other without hitting your head on the ceiling. The bathrooms are in bad condition, it gets incredibly hot, and there's no AC. Absolutely horrible experience. I highly do not recommend it.

Even with lots of guests around, it stayed quiet and peaceful. The location is excellent, with everything close by, and the rooms are nicely decorated and soundproofed. The breakfasts were delicious and offered plenty of choice, including hot dishes. The owners are friendly and take good care of guests, chatting with you and suggesting things to see and try. A wonderful place, highly recommend it!

The location and the two amazing restaurants next door do make the place appealing, but I'm torn about the value. The owners were nice and helpful, and the breakfasts were very generous, with varied dishes, tableware, and cutlery, all still good. The hotel feels like a communist-era property that's been freshly painted and touched up. There was a broken outlet and a broken hairdryer. When I mentioned them as I left, the owner looked at me pityingly, as if I couldn't manage. For the price of a long weekend, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. At the regular off-season rate, it might be manageable. Somehow it's both worth it and not worth it.

A very rude owner. When someone parks beside his hotel, he calls the police straight away. You're not a people-friendly person. Why so much hatred when life is short? You could smile instead.

The Hotel WENUS is right by the Vistula Embankments, with a view across to the castle tower, and I can see myself returning many times. I stayed for two nights two weeks ago, and it was pure pleasure. We got to Kazimierz around 9:00 PM and were welcomed at reception with a smile. After check-in, the receptionist marked the best sights and food spots on a map, and those recommendations were spot on, every place was delicious. My room was cozy under the roof, with a kettle, tea and coffee, still and sparkling mineral water, and a very comfortable mattress. I slept wonderfully. Breakfast had a surprising range, including vegetarian and vegan choices, plus freshly made scrambled eggs and sausages. Halfway through, they brought ***** to our table, a surprise you'll have to see for yourself. I also spoke with the owners a few times, and they're truly delightful. I recommend Hotel WENUS 300%.
