The service was great, and the atmosphere was even better. Kwaskowo feels cozy, with beautiful surroundings that make you want to sit and relax. A little thing that made a big difference was the host serving freshly baked rolls to guests in the morning. Definitely worth a visit!

For me, the only reason to choose this place was that it was the cheapest accommodation available in Kazimierz. It’s a quiet resort in the forest, but why is it listed as a 3-star hotel? It’s 2025, and they only take cash. 🙆🏿 The room reminded me of my grandfather’s, and the TV of his youth. Those steep stairs are a nightmare. Elderly or disabled people without a car won’t be able to get up there, and I don’t know how people manage in winter. The driveway is a bit easier, but two cars can’t pass each other. After climbing up, you’d want to air out the room, but doing that invites mosquitoes. You can hear everything through the wall or from the hallway, even someone boiling water in a kettle or heating something in the microwave.

The forest setting is lovely, and I have a lot of affection for the owners, who even brought us sweet rolls. But getting into the building was a serious problem for me. The route is more like a mountain hiking trail than a set of stairs, and after climbing it for several days I sprained the ligaments in my knee and am still uncomfortable. This needs to be stated right at the start of the listing. It’s exhausting if you’re not sporty, and I can’t imagine it being manageable for older guests. The rooms also need updating for these prices. I’d rate their condition 5/10: they’re dated, there’s little space and no wardrobe or hangers, the kettle is calcified, and the bedding seems generations old. The entrance should have proper stairs, with the difficult access clearly explained.

In a word, organizing a Christmas Eve gathering here was a disaster. It might be an okay place for a holiday, but not for a family event like Christmas.
