The owners are lovely, friendly people, but I did notice some issues with how the hotel is run. The air conditioner didn’t work at night, the doors and garden lights were switched off at night, and there didn’t seem to be a pool water cleaning cycle.

We were there for a couple of nights in the off season, and the small, friendly feel suited us. The breakfast was lovely, and we really enjoyed dinner there too. In summer, the loungers on our private terrace would have been useful, but snow on them put us off, and the little outdoor pool was closed. If you’re after a smaller, simple hotel, you should be happy here.

We came at Christmas and the room was a bit cold, though it was clean and the welcome was warm. They could improve their English too.
