The apartment was spacious and modern, with two rooms and a kitchen. The windows shut out the traffic from the main square really well. It's a mix of rental apartments and a hotel, so there’s 24-hour reception, breakfast at the restaurant, and daily cleaning. The outdoor parking is closed and monitored, though it’s a two-minute walk away. Guests also get free access to the swimming pool at Kocierz spa. Staff at both reception and the restaurant were polite, friendly, and professional. Sadly, the cleaning before we arrived had missed a lot: the floor hadn't been vacuumed properly, there was a piece of broken glass, and previous guests had left things in the room and bathroom. They fixed these problems after we reported them. A few things in the apartment also need attention: the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, and the air con in one room makes a low, noisy sound that isn't okay for sleeping. Breakfast was tasty and had lots of variety, served at the table rather than as a buffet, maybe because of covid. The traditional polish dishes were great. The pizza was so-so, with dry dough, though perhaps I have high standards. It's a nice place to stay or eat, but at the price we paid, the details kept it from being a five-star stay.

The waitress were still smiling and pleasant, but we were charged for a Greek salad we didn't eat. What arrived was lettuce, Greek cheese, and a strange, awful dressing poured over everything. When we pointed out it wasn't Greek salad, the answer was that polish people like it. We're not polish, though.

We've been coming back with our family for years. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, the food is excellent, and the hospitality has always felt especially warm. We've never had a bad experience.

I love the polish food here, and the pizza is great too. Whenever I'm in Kęty, I make a point of visiting.
