Apartament Kolonialny Olympic Park

The room was okay and the location was great, but the service was absolutely terrible. We rented an apartment in the hotel next door, with a parking space included. The assigned spot was in an underground garage with a 1.9-metre height limit, and our car wouldn’t fit. There were free spaces in the regular lots in front of the hotel and apartment building, but nobody could explain why we weren’t allowed to park there. They told us to use a paid public lot three kilometres away. We did that for three days, but walking that far with the children each time was a nightmare. After I contacted the landlord again, we were told we could use street parking and keep the tickets for reimbursement at the end of our vacation. On the last day, I went to collect the money for the parking tickets. They laughed at me and said nobody knew about the agreement. I was left paying around €100 in parking fees. We were simply ripped off. Never again.

It’s close to the sea, and there’s an outdoor gym, a playground, and two small playrooms for children. There are lots of apartments here, but parking is limited to just a few outdoor spaces on a first-come, first-served basis, so they’re always taken.

It’s a short walk to the sea, beach, and promenade, and there was very good contact with the man managing the apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable, away from the bustle of central Kołobrzeg in the hotel and recreation area. There’s a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe, plus a living room with a large TV and a properly arranged sofa. That connects to a very well-equipped kitchenette. The balcony has a sea view and room to eat or have coffee. Everything you need for a holiday is there. It could have been a little warmer, but that wasn’t included in the price ;)

The beach is fantastic, just a one-minute walk away. It’s a bit of a trek to a larger shop or restaurant, though, and parking is practically nonexistent. Free public parking is available at the Radisson Resort. The large apartments work well for a small family and have everything equipped: a fridge, kitchenette with plenty of cutlery and glasses, washing machine, dryer, and iron. A full beach set with several blankets is included. The beds are very comfortable, and with two TVs it feels like home.
