Apartamenty Sun&Snow Olympic Hotel

The beach is very nice and the surroundings are well kept. The highway is great too. But I’d never stay with Sun and Snow in Kolberg again. The payment mess started with my card supposedly being rejected, then I was charged twice. After five weeks, multiple calls and countless emails, and a lot of stress, I reluctantly booked again. Three days before arrival, they flooded me with texts, WhatsApp messages, and emails demanding an urgent €60 deposit that hadn’t been mentioned before. Sun and Snow told me afterward it would be refunded within a week. I was still waiting three weeks later. In the August 29, 2023 update, I was still waiting, and they played it down by saying the deposit had been released, which wasn’t true. These people make my heart race. The hotel itself looks beautiful and modern, but the Sun&Snow apartments were outrageous. At reception, both "sun and snow" and the "Hotel Seaside Park" staff were forcedly friendly and seemed annoyed when tourists asked for basic directions. There were no clear directions to the apartments or sensible explanation of how to access the underground garage. The whole parking setup felt exaggerated and illogical. The room was nice and had a good view. It was tidy, though not really clean, and the bathroom was tidy and relatively new. It was fairly pleasant, but for the price you can get much better. In 2023, the TV was only in Polish, which was a shame. They charge for everything here. In Kołobrzeg, even using a café bathroom in the city can cost over €1.50 converted, since there are no public toilets. Crossing a bridge costs money; parking in one of the few big lots, when everything else is full, costs a lot; even taking a photo with a children's inflatable figure from Monster Academy costs a lot. At the hotel, facilities like the wellness area or gym are charged separately, and you have to pay in advance to get access. Seems like the only thing you don't pay for is breathing. I’m sorry to leave this review, but that’s exactly how it was for me. We’ve stayed in many countries and in places across different price ranges. This was a never again. Be careful with Sun and Snow in Kolberg. Unfriendly, arrogant, and a rip-off!

The apartment is practically unusable, which is a shame because it’s in a great location. Dealing with the office was awful. The women there seemed to mix up private business with office work. I honestly wouldn’t recommend working with Sun and Snow.
