The beach is very close, but the location couldn't make up for all the problems we had during our three-night Christmas stay with my girlfriend. Christmas Eve dinner was the worst part. Reception told us it started at 4 PM, but when we got to the dining room at 4:05 PM, hardly any food was left. There were no dumplings or fish, for example, and almost nothing was replenished during dinner. What did come out was cold, so we left hungry and extremely disappointed. Breakfasts and dinner on 25th Dec were similar. If you stay here, I'd suggest arriving 5-10 minutes before a meal officially starts, or you may be unpleasantly surprised by the limited selection. The WiFi wasn't great either. Each room has its own network, but you have to keep the TV on to activate it, which is annoying. Staff, especially the receptionists, seemed unprofessional. There's no 24-hour service, and they leave for the day at 10 PM. Parking is another hassle: the hotel has no guest spaces, so you have to hunt for a public spot nearby, which costs money on weekdays. Too many downsides. Definitely not recommended.

The food was first class and surprisingly cheap, with a great price to quality ratio. Breakfast was tasty and filling, too. Service at both the restaurant and reception was very good, and the manager was professional. Staff speak excellent German. The hotel was always tidy and clean, and the view was nice, though of course it could offer a better look at the sea. No need to go searching for another restaurant.

I booked for the wrong month by mistake, even though I meant to reserve for that same day. I contacted them right away, but they refused to cancel. That kind of discourtesy makes me wonder why anyone would do business with them.

The location is great, the breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly. Some renovation work is needed, though nothing was seriously bad. Four stars feels fair.

Breakfast and the restaurant were perfect, and the service was good. The room was nice and clean, and the location was great. The TV was bigger than average, but there was no fridge.
