Hotel Leda Spa

We had a lovely stay at this quiet, clean hotel. The staff were caring and easy to approach, and the pool and spa facilities were very good. We went for breakfast plus lunch or dinner, which turned out to be a great choice. The food was tasty and there was a good variety.

The downsides first: the room fridges have a notice saying they're only for the hotel's own products, and both bikes we rented from the hotel had problems. One seat came off, a tire went flat, and a hand brake didn't work. Hotel parking needs to be booked early, and even with a reserved spot you still have to pay “the city” rather than the hotel. The pool area and salt grotto were lovely, bright and well set up, with two jacuzzis, a big pool and showers you could turn on with a button. Breakfast was excellent, with attentive table service and lots of hot and cold choices, including healthy options, cake and cereal. Rooms were clean, nicely designed and had the usual things like a safe, TV and hair dryer. The location is great for a 2 km walk along the beach without being surrounded by tourists, and there was plenty of parking around the hotel and on the streets. A big plus for us was that there were no pets or children.

The furniture is nice, the staff are friendly, and there's a pool, gym and sauna at the hotel. A very good place, I can definitely recommend it!

The SPA and treatments were lovely, and we had a spacious room with a balcony. The hotel restaurant, Le Maison, was very good, and the little lobby bar had nice prices for drinks and food. Staff were really nice everywhere. The part that brought my rating down from five was the meal service on the second floor. The included four-course dinners were stressful, with dishes arriving out of order and before we'd finished the previous one. Even so, we're very happy to return to Leda SPA.
