Aparthotel Nad Parseta Apartment hotel

The apartments at Młyńska 10 are spacious, clean, and well equipped, but that was about all we liked. We'd driven nearly 500 km, and I had told the receptionist on the Parsęta River (Szpitalna 7) that having three rooms next to each other mattered a lot to us. She assured me we'd be placed in the other building as requested. When we arrived, another woman said they couldn't promise that. We didn't end up with the rooms together, and I wish someone had called to let me know. If I had known, I would have booked somewhere else.

The room style was nice and there were some amenities, but that's where the positives end. For the price, I expected better. The bathroom and other facilities weren't worth the money, and there was trouble getting the deposit refunded. The pool is tiny, supposedly for six people, and so crowded that even 15 minutes there hardly seems worthwhile. At the spa, a staff member told me in the evening that massages didn't need to be booked in advance. The next morning I was told there were no rooms available, so I could forget about it. What changed overnight? Cleanliness was also poor. I found a used tampon in the nightstand, had to sweep sand off the floor first thing, and then found empty drink bottles under the sofa when I unfolded it. I won't come back or recommend it.

The location was pretty good, and the apartment itself was clean. The shower needs fixing, though, because water leaked out onto the floor. Booking listed check-in from 3 PM and check-out by 11 AM, but the actual times were 2 PM and 10 AM. The cleaning staff came in before we had left. The 400 PLN deposit was a downside, too. It wasn't mentioned near the start of the information and was buried further down. The window beside the bed looked nice, but I worried someone over 5'10" might accidentally break it while sleeping.

There was plenty of paid parking nearby. The apartment was clean but had very little equipment, and although we had booked for four, it wasn't ready for us. There was no bedding or heating.
