Shuum Boutique Wellness Hotel

The breakfast buffet was tasty, with something different each day, though the breakfast room can get crowded if you come after 9. The bar cocktails were okay, but nothing special. I found the hotel parking convenient but a bit overpriced, and there’s no free parking outside the building. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and well maintained, with a big balcony and special beach towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna and indoor pool were surprisingly large, and I liked that there are pool times when children aren’t allowed. A very positive stay.

The à la carte dinners were fantastic, and I’d recommend including dinner, though service was a little slow. Breakfast had plenty of choice too. Shuum Hotel is a stylish, quiet retreat in a busy area, just a 30-second walk from the beach. The comfortable rooms and bike rentals at 3 euros per hour made getting around easy, with no need for an e-bike. It’s not the cheapest, but I thought it was worth it. One thing to know: rooms with a beach view look out onto trees. For more sun, pick an upper-floor room away from the beach. The hotel doesn’t provide beach sunbeds.

The staff were helpful, professional, and friendly, and the food was delicious and healthy. Breakfast was superb, with an impressive range of choices. We especially enjoyed the pool and spa options. The room’s design and atmosphere, along with the amenities, suited the lovely Baltic Sea location perfectly. Hope to come back soon!

After a long walk, settling in at the bar for a proper whiskey sour in the late afternoon was just the thing.
