Mylak

For a day's skiing, Mylak Guesthouse works well, and there's a good road to the Pilsko ski resort. There's a small parking area behind the building. The room was clean, but barely equipped, and noise from the restaurant downstairs carried clearly into it. You can often hear cars from the room, since it's on Korbielów's main street. The building seems to be used more for shops, bakery, and catering than as a guesthouse. For a holiday, especially with children, it doesn't feel like a proper guesthouse. It lacks the atmosphere of a typical highland place.

The only small downside for me was the elderly man with a cane. He was supposedly looking after the pool, but I felt he was watching and listening to us. When we tried to have a polite conversation, he was very rude. Aside from that, everything deserves a big 5-plus. The accommodation on Na Mostach Street has what you need for a summer break: a pool, mountains, and lovely views. The rooms are neat and clean, and the staff are friendly. The pizzeria across the street serves delicious pizza and other good food. Definitely worth recommending.

Good value for the price, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hostess was very helpful. There's a grocery store and bakery downstairs, and the saleswoman there was helpful too.

We've visited three times, and the food has been delicious on every visit. Watching the pizza being made right in front of you is nice, and it's some of the best I've ever had. At breakfast there's a buffet as well as pancakes, and everything is fresh and continually replenished. We loved the pancakes enough to have them again the next day. The owner is friendly, service is quick, and it's a place worth visiting.
