Apartamenty Stylowe Zakopane

The location is good, the balcony view is beautiful, and the apartment has a pleasant feel with its woodwork and furnishings. But Apartment C3 is poorly placed on the ground floor, with windows on all three sides. People coming into the building could see us from every direction, so we had to keep the blinds and curtains closed. The soundproofing is very poor, especially with the building doors creaking so loudly. The apartment is too small for four adults or 2 + 2 teenagers, and two people wouldn’t sleep well on the living room sofa for a longer stay. The terrace was dirty, with loose and cracked tiles. Ms. Sylwia, the "resident," is hard to reach by phone, slow to return calls and not very helpful. The fireplace was meant to work, but it didn’t. Ms. Sylwia suggested opening the balcony so it could burn, and acted as if she didn’t know about the issue, even though they sold the wood from her father or uncle. The parking situation was similar. This is untrue. I don’t recommend it at all. We’ll be back.

The kitchen was very well equipped, and the apartment was beautiful, with a highlander-style interior. The mountains felt almost within reach from the window and terrace. It’s a very good location, just a stone’s throw from Gubałówka or the Koscieliska Valley. There wasn’t any firewood in the apartment, but that wasn’t a problem for us since we brought a few pieces from home 😊

WARNING! The resident showed no interest. I had to call three different numbers before finding out the key was hidden in the trash can in front of the house. Inside, everything was falling apart, with dirt and mold in the shower and bathroom floor corners. The fridge was broken, the kitchen cabinets were taped shut, and the 20 złoty IKEA table was damaged, with the cardboard and legs peeling. It’s listed for four adults with two bedrooms, but the second bed was for children, not adults. The stairs are slippery, steep and dangerous. There’s even a toilet in the bedroom without a locking door. I don’t recommend it. A waste of money. Never again.

The apartment was clean and pleasant, and Sylwia, the resident, was very friendly and helpful. But we were disappointed with room C3 Stylish. All its windows face the road, which is the entrance to two houses with around 14 apartments, so there’s no privacy unless you close the curtains. The walls are thin and you can hear everything in the house. Renovations started near the end of our vacation, work the owner chose to carry out during the rental period. Unfortunately, that adds up to a 3-star rating.
