We spent most of our time out seeing things in Zakopane, using the apartments mainly to sleep and freshen up. We were eight people and had one larger and one smaller apartment. The smaller one didn’t give us any major trouble, but the larger one had loads of little issues. It was an okay place overall, though we probably wouldn’t stay here again.

There are no blackout curtains, and the cold water is the worst part. After skiing, you want a hot shower, but here there’s only enough hot water for two people if they’re quick.

We only got a short stay here, which was a shame. From apartment no. 2 in building 24, we had a lovely autumn view of the Tatra Mountains, and breakfast out on the terrace in the sun felt idyllic. The kids could head straight to the playground from the apartment, and there was a trampoline too. They also had a great time roasting sausages over a fire in the grill gazebo. The apartment is cozy, clean, and furnished in a lovely modern highland style. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the large underground car park meant no fuss finding a space. Mr. Rafał was kind and very helpful. There’s a well-kept garden and plenty of greenery around the building. The location worked really well for getting to Zakopane on foot, and bus stops are close by. Shops, inns, restaurants, and ski lifts are nearby too. Getting there from Nowy Targ and Chochołów was easy. A lovely place for either a short or longer holiday.
