The reception was a problem from the start. No one was there when we arrived, so we waited outside in the cold for about 20 minutes, and it was often unattended during our stay. When we left a day early, we tried five times during the day to return the key, but the desk was still empty. In the end, we called and left it on the reception desk ourselves. The staff didn't ask why we were leaving early and ended the call abruptly. Their manner was rude and unprofessional. We had also read positive things about breakfast, but found it very basic and ordinary. The jacuzzi was decent, though it could fit three people at most, and the pool was too small to be practical. The amenities felt inadequate for a hotel of this size. Our room was freezing, and I woke up at night from the cold. It also had no soundproofing. We could hear the TV next door and people walking in the corridor, and with the hotel full of children it was excessively noisy. The bathroom wasn't clean, the beds weren't properly maintained, and the room was extremely small. On arrival, we were first given a ground-floor room that was nothing like what we'd booked. The staff seemed annoyed and gave us unpleasant looks when we asked to change rooms. The replacement was the room we'd originally booked, but it still fell far short of what we expected. By far my worst experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The breakfast was okay, just the basics, and the spa area looked much nicer in the pictures than it did in real life. Our room wasn't one of the recently renovated ones shown on the website, and it was very, very small. At least it had a nice mountain view. We booked a double bed, but it was two beds pushed together. When you lay in the middle, they shifted apart and left a gap, which was super annoying. The WiFi didn't work at all during our four-night stay. The rooms were noisy too, with squeaky doors, showers, and people walking all audible. If noise bothers you and you're after a relaxing getaway, I wouldn't recommend it, unless perhaps you can get a top-floor room.

We spent a weekend in the mountain panorama terrace apartment. The view was great, the mattresses were good, and it had a fridge and kitchenette. The bathroom was decent, with good pressure and hot water. Parking was a bit tight but manageable. The pool and billiards were nice, and breakfast had a good spread, though it was a pity there was no fruit. It's a short drive to Zakopane town center. At 100 EUR a night it's not the cheapest, but still good value.

The room was nice and clean, with a balcony, mini fridge, boiler, cute wardrobe, and TV. There's also a shared kitchen outside for extra use, which I liked a lot. Room service was quick when we left a paper on the doorknob, but they didn't bring fresh towels, change the sheets or pillowcases, or restock toilet paper. There wasn't any, so I had to ask reception for it. The staff were polite, helpful, and always around checking whether things were okay. They made a nice breakfast, which was included for free. Reception was really helpful, smiling, and spoke English. The location is close to the bus station, about a 4-5 minute walk, and there's a great restaurant next door that's open until 11. It's a villa with lots of rooms, so the place itself isn't very big. It seemed to suit families best. The whole place was booked by families, which was nice, though a bit annoying for me when I wanted a proper vacation without crying or screaming during breakfast. The sauna had no downsides for me. It was really nice, set to a proper temperature, and heated up quickly even when it was off. The pool wasn't very big, but the water was nice and warm, and I personally liked it a lot. The jacuzzi was pretty amazing too, and its bubble effect, as I call it, lasted a long time. The downside is that it's outside, so you have to brave the cold getting there from the pool and going back inside afterward. Bring towels from your room, since they don't provide pool towels. Both the pool and jacuzzi close at 10 pm. The billiards had more drawbacks. There's only one cue, it costs 10zl per hour each time you play, and it closes at 10 pm. That's annoying, especially for a couple passing the cue back and forth, or even more of a hassle in a group. On vacation you want to stay up and do something, so it would be better if the billiards area weren't part of the space that closes at 10. The football table is free and nice, with no downsides.
