Krysia, we still need those lambs on the property! We have such fond memories of staying at Willa Smiechowka with you. The food Krysia makes is so good, finger-licking good. The view from the window is great, even though the weather wasn’t very good at first. Hopefully it improves. The place is clean and in good condition, with an okay bathroom and a TV in the room. There’s also a fridge and mugs in the hallway. It’s a pleasant spot not far from central Zakopane, whether you go on foot or by car. I’d recommend it for starters.

Mrs. Krysia is a wonderful all-rounder. She cooks really well, and checks the rooms while guests are out.

The owner wants payment before you’ve even stepped inside, which really affected my impression. The rooms feel like they’re from the communist era, with furniture and bathrooms that don’t seem to have been updated since the 1990s. There’s no hot water at the sinks. My rating is 1 out of 5 for the approach and the standard.
