There’s a nightclub right under the hotel rooms, and the noise went on late into the night. I couldn’t sleep, the beds were uncomfortable, and the shower had no warm water. The staff spoke only Polish, not English or German. We left the motel in the middle of the night and drove seven hours home. Very, very bad. Wouldn’t recommend it.

It felt depressing in the single room, with a black curtain in the window, one black bathroom wall, and a black baroque mirror frame. The black carpet stank and had apparently once been burgundy, and cigarette smoke smell was everywhere. Standard fare, just like in communist Poland. Never again.

The bedding was a plus: very clean and fresh-smelling. The room itself was nice, and the bathroom was okay, but there was an unpleasant cigarette smell throughout the room. Everything was permeated with it.

The room, especially the bathroom, was dirty. The price was really low, though, so it was great value for money.

It was February and cold, and the room was a mess. The conditions were spartan, to put it mildly. The price was low, but the stay was still a disaster.
